How to Snip Herbs

Soft leaf herbs such as basil and stranded herbs, such as chives, fare better by being snipped with scissors rather than using a knife to chop them. This also minimises the bruising often caused by the blade of a knife. It’s also easier to get a finer texture.

Using a pair of scissors, snip them in different directions so you get different angles.
