How to Pan Fry Prawns

One of the quickest and easiest ways to cook prawns is to panfry them.

Start with a hot pan. Can be non stick but necessary. Add a little bit of melted butter or oil to the pan and swirl it.

Fresh raw or marinated prawns can be pan fried, the method for both is the same.

When the pan is quite hot, add the prawns in a single layer and cook till they begin to turn pink and curl about 30-60 seconds. Now flip them over and cook the other side, then continue to cook, till they’re cooked through, another 30-60 seconds.

When they’re cooked, remove them and drain them on absorbent paper before serving.
